Dreams are basically a person’s deepest thoughts, emotions and his/her greatest fears. Dreams can be nice, lovely and pleasant and most of the time totally unrealistic but on the other hand they can be rather nasty, scary and heart –wrenching…those dreams are best referred to as nightmares. Dreams are visual conceptions of how we humans perceive life and want life to be in the future, they can also be recollections of the past events that happen to us subconsciously or not before…that’s why for some instances we may think that dreams can sometimes predict the future…or maybe some of us think its the loop hole, god “accidentally” created in us to enable us to peek into the future he has planed for us. However, dreams are nothing more than that of our greatest desires. Desires that we want real badly that can somewhat alter the way our mind thinks and thus allow dreams to become reality through our shear determination that we want things to take effect the way we yearn for it to…

Scientists have proven that there is such a thing as the subconscious mind, which records the places, and events happening to us or around us. The subconscious mind takes control of our body, especially the brain, when we are at rest and let our minds wander. This is called “day- dreaming” or “building sand castles in the sky”. At this point in time, the subconscious mind has enabled/activated the dream caliber in our brain allowing us to go through what it has revealed and seen when our conscious mind is in control. Opportunities like this can happen any time anywhere but to see our subconscious mind’s wonders takes both time and luck! Very often when people are dreaming, they get wakened and their dream vanishes- completely erased from the mind. Making it rather impossible to continue where their dream stopped. It’s only through shear coincidence that one is able to continue from that point where the dream was stumped. It’s a funny thing that when dreams end nicely, we cannot imagine and continue from the ending. It is like its destined to end in that manner and no one can do anything about it. Many a times dreams are also purely imaginations created by our mind, both conscious and subconscious. The reason why pain, joy, agony and fear felt in dreams are so well projected is due to the fact that both our minds have worked/functioned in the “real” world for so long, that they can mimic our very reactions and convert it to the dream world where our feelings are able to come to life virtually. In some dreams for instance, “a person jumping down flights of stairs, misses a footing at the very last moment and rams his knee into the wall”. What the person is experiencing is excruciating pain projected by the subconscious mind from the conscious mind through the use of events and experiences of the past, and even imaginations, but not the nerves that run throughout the person’s body. The pain felt is only virtual and very likely brought about by how your mind perceives the pain that should be felt if such cases ever do happen. That is otherwise, if the person has personally experienced such pain before -which is the doing of the subconscious mind that has brought days of old back to life.

Ramifications of not dreaming could lead to depression, stress and discontent. Dreams possess the ability to relax the mind, and if it’s taken away the consequences are deadly in the long run. Though dreams are simply just thoughts, yet they have powers of their own healing… Without dreams, life would be dull and we can only look forward to see things the way it is… that’s why Apple Company’s slogan is, “think different”…we’ve got to think out of the box for creative ideas. Sometimes these crazy and innovative ideas are brought about by dreams as it is the process by which the mind takes the parts of things apart and fix/join other parts together- creating new and amazing gadgets that awes the world! These are all done simultaneously and subconsciously in our minds and later projected in frames within our heads, and when its time for us to harness these ideas, that’s where imagination steps in to fill up the missing pieces of this big jigsaw puzzle to bring about the latest state-of-the-art products! It’s always the case where dreams form the fundamental part of our ideas- that’s where our ideas are born!
